Article 105: This article of the Constitution of India deals with the “Powers, Privileges and Immunities of Parliament and its Members.” It grants certain powers, privileges, and immunities to the Parliament and its members to ensure the independence and effectiveness of the legislative process. Article 106: This article provides for the “Salaries and Allowances of Members.” The members of both Houses of Parliament are entitled to receive salaries and allowances as determined by Parliament. These salaries and allowances are paid out of the Consolidated Fund of India.
